This course is ideal for parents, carers, family members and/or anyone who works with babies and children, without having to follow Ofsted requirements.
Our 1 day Emergency Paediatric First Aid – Level 3 Award training course provides delegates with basic and lifesaving practical skills as well as First Aid theoretical knowledge on providing First Aid to babies and children.
On this course you will learn about:
– Roles and responsibilities of a paediatric first aider
– Incident and casualty management
– CPR and safe use a defibrillator
– Treating an unconscious casualty
– Management of seizures
– Treating a choking casualty
– Shock
– External bleeding
– Minor injuries
– Bites and stings

Course Assessment
There are 4 practical assessments and 1 multiple choice written paper
Course Qualification
Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a Level 3 RQF Accredited Certificate that is valid for 3 years.
All attendees will receive a FREE first aid manual to compliment the training and to keep as a reference for future.
Attendees will also receive a FREE first aid ID card.
