This course is ideal for anyone who works with food, whether in a health and social care setting or business. We train groups across many sectors who require food safety training in order to serve or prepare food.
On this course you will learn to:
• Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of food safety to operate hygienically
• Demonstrate an understanding of personal hygiene requirements to work effectively in the food catering environment
• Understand the importance of cleaning and disinfection to maintain a safe food catering environment
• Show an understanding of the hazards and risks posed by contamination and bacteria in the food catering environment

Course Qualification
Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a THTS certificate. There is no expiry date on this certificate, although we recommend that you refresh training every 2 years.
